Basically, We will meet and disband at Kawaguchiko station, but up to 5 people can be picked up at the hotel if they are staying in Fujiyoshida City or Kawaguchiko area.

  • If the guide determines that there are no safety issues, the tour will be held rain or shine.
    However, the guide may decide to cancel the event based on the weather forecast the day before. In that case, there will be no cancellation fee.
  • For safety management during the tour, please refrain from participating if you are under the influence of alcohol or are pregnant.
  • If you have a chronic disease that could lead to a serious condition (e.g. heart disease, anaphylaxis due to allergy, etc.), please be sure to inform us in advance. Also, please be sure to bring your regular medications with you.

① - A hidden spot where you can quietly enjoy the beauty of Lake Kawaguchi.

Self-introduction, explanation of the itinerary, etc.

② - Kawaguchi Asama Shrine

This shrine was built about 1,200 years ago to pray for the goddess of Mt. Fuji to calm a volcanic eruption. Seven ancient sacred trees were planted here. Located slightly away from the main tourist areas, it offers a quiet and spiritual atmosphere.

③ - Saiko Lake and Mt. Fuji viewpoint

The pure waters of Mt. Fuji are a deep, vivid blue. Enjoy the stunning views of the mountain and the lake quietly, so as not to disturb the local anglers!

④ - Aokigahara Forest (Sea of Trees)

Aokigahara, or the “Sea of Trees,” is a forest that grew over the lava fields from Mt. Fuji. Explore the forest and visit the sacred lava caves associated with Mt. Fuji worship! Your guide will share the unique features of the forest and the stories behind this spiritual tradition.

⑤ - A hidden viewpoint at Lake Shoji.

It’s the smallest of the Fuji Five Lakes. The lake is very calm and peaceful, making it one of the best spots to admire Mt. Fuji! Your guide will take you to this hidden gem of the lake :)

⑥ - Lunch at a local restaurant

Fujiyoshida City is famous for its signature dish, Yoshida Udon. The noodles are thicker than usual, with a delightfully chewy texture. Let’s enjoy this local specialty together!

⑦ - Subaru Line 5th Station [Optional]

If the weather is good, you can head up to the 5th Station of Mt. Fuji. The views from here are amazing, and you can also enjoy a short hike on the mountain!

⑧ - Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine

Experience the sacred atmosphere of this shrine. Walk along the beautiful tree-lined path called the “Sando” and immerse yourself in the history of Mt. Fuji!

⑨ - Hotel Kaneyamaen

Hotel Kaneyamaen is the most historic and luxurious hotel in Fujiyoshida City, and its Japanese-style garden is open to the public. The garden is truly beautiful, allowing you to fully enjoy the seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, vibrant green leaves in summer, colorful autumn foliage, and snowy landscapes in winter. You can also enjoy matcha tea and traditional Japanese sweets. Why not spend a relaxing afternoon there?
