There are 403 steps in front of you after passing through the Torii gate,then you’ll get to Ishiwari-shrine at the 8th station which has a large rock and people said it is the stage of the Japanese mythology called”Ama-no-Iwato”.
This is a very satisfying hiking tour that includes a large Katsura tree, which is said to be the source of the Katsura River,the view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka from the top of the mountain.

The highlight of this tour is the view of Mt.Fuji and Lake Yamanakako from the top!
But that is not all!!
At Ishiwari Shrine, located at the 8th station,there is a large rock that is so cracked that one person can barely pass through it, where it is said that Amaterasu hid in the past.If you can walk through
it three times clockwise, it is said that it will bring you good luck. Also, it is said that the sacred
water that oozes from the large rock can heal skin and eye diseases.
Let’s enjoy the mountain climbing and get some energy at the sacred site!

Meeting Place
Basically, We will meet and disband at the trail head, but up to 4 people can be picked up at the hotel if they are staying in Fujiyoshida City or Kawaguchiko area.
Target Age
Elementary school students and older can participate.

We may be able to accommodate you (e.g., if there are no other guests on the tour).
Notes・Cancellation Policy
- If the guide determines that there are no safety issues, the tour will be held rain or shine.
However, the guide may decide to cancel the event based on the weather forecast the day before. In that case, there will be no cancellation fee. - For safety management during the tour, please refrain from participating if you are under the influence of alcohol or are pregnant.
- If you have a chronic disease that could lead to a serious condition (e.g. heart disease, anaphylaxis due to allergy, etc.), please be sure to inform us in advance. Also, please be sure to bring your regular medications with you.

Cancellation without notice・・・100% of the tour fee
9:00 - Gather at the entrance of Mt. Ishiwari mountain trail
After using the restroom, we will introduce ourselves, explain the course, and do warm-up exercises.
9:15 - Start climbing
First, we slowly climb up the 403 steps.
10:15 - Arrive at the 8th station, Ishiwari Shrine
It is said that if you enter the crack of the large rock there and circle around it three times, your wish will come true.
10:45 - Arrive at the top
Enjoy the view of Mt.Fuji and Lake Yamanakako!
11:15 - Start descending
12:00 - Return to the parking area and disperse
